HC Deb 09 March 1931 vol 249 c814
Mr. STANLEY BALDWIN

Will the Prime Minister kindly state what is the business for Friday next?

The PRIME MINISTER

The Report stage of the Supplementary Estimates for the Mines Department will be taken as the first Order on Friday, 13th March, and will be followed by the business already announced—further stages of the Small Landholders and Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Bill.

Mr. MACPHERSON

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the second Order, the Smallholders Bill, will take the whole day, and more?

The PRIME MINISTER

That may be so, but we just have to wait and see. That is the business as announced.

Mr. MACPHERSON

Will the right hon. Gentleman see that we get a day ensured in future for the Bill?

The PRIME MINISTER

I hope it will not be necessary.

Ordered, That the Proceedings on Report of Supply [23rd February] be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[The Prime Minister.]
