Major HARVEYasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, when amending the Companies Act, he will consider introducing a Clause to provide that an auditor's certificate should state whether the dividends proposed in respect of the accounts certified were payable out of trading profits earned during the period covered by the certificate, and that if any part of the dividend had been taken from reserves the certificate should state the sum?
