HC Deb 25 June 1931 vol 254 c597
14. Mr. JOWETT

asked the Minister of Labour whether she is taking any action to prevent another dispute in the woollen textile industry, having regard to the further reduction of wages threatened by the employers in that industry?

Miss BONDFIELD

I hope that any question which may arise in this industry will be dealt with in a constitutional way by the organisations concerned.

Mr. BROOKE

If the right hon. Lady is approached by the organised workers, will she take action?

Miss BONDFIELD

It will be my duty to do so.
