66. Mr. REMER

asked the Secretary of State for India if he has any further information as to the operations of the Foreign Piece Goods Export Company, Limited; if he can state if any British cotton goods have actually as yet been exported; and, if so, to what countries?

The SECRETARY of STATE for INDIA (Mr. Wedgwood Benn)

No, Sir, I have no information beyond that which I have already given to the House.

Mr. REMER

Is the right hon. Gentleman making any inquiries as to whether cotton is being exported from this country?

Mr. BENN

I have given the House all the information I have on this matter.

Mr. REMER

If I put a question down for next Monday, will the right hon. Gentleman be good enough to answer it?

Mr. BENN

If the hon. Member puts a question down, I will give all the information that is available.
