HC Deb 23 June 1931 vol 254 cc221-2
45. Mr. DAY

asked the Prime Minister whether he can make any further statement as to the recent visit to Great Britain of the German Chancellor and the German Foreign Minister?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Ramsay MacDonald)

I fear I have nothing to add to the reply I gave to similar questions addressed to me on this subject by my hon. Friends the Members for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Ken-worthy) and East Leicester (Mr. Wise) on 10th June last.

46. Mr. DAY

asked the Prime Minister whether he can make a statement with reference to his discussions with Mr. Andrew Mellon, the Secretary to the United States Treasury?

The PRIME MINISTER

The conversations I had with Mr. Mellon were in no sense official and therefore I have nothing to report.
