HC Deb 02 June 1931 vol 253 cc25-6
45. Commander BELLAIRS

asked the Prime Minister whether the report of the committee of the Anti-Slavery and Howard Societies on forced labour in Russia has been considered by the Cabinet; what action it is proposed to take; and whether a day will be given for discussion, in. view of the large and increasing quantity of imports coming to this country from Soviet Russia?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

The reply to the first and third parts of the question is in the negative. As regards to the second part, His Majesty's Government do not propose to take any action in connection with the report.

Commander BELLAIRS

Do the Cabinet intend to consider the report when it is received?

Mr. HENDERSON

I have already answered that part of the question.
