§ 36. Mr. WOMERSLEYasked the Minister of Health if he would have inquiries made into the reasons why the Royal Seamen's Pension Fund Committee are refusing to grant pensions to fishermen during 1931?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI have been informed by the Secretary to the Governing Body of the Royal Seamen's Pension Fund that up to date 396 pensions have been granted to fishermen this year.
§ Mr. WOMERSLEYIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that letters have been sent from the Committee stating that no further pensions will be granted to fishermen this year, and will he have inquiries made as to the reason, bearing in mind the fact that it was a definite resolution of the Committee that one-third of the pensions granted should be given to fishermen?
