§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEI would suggest to the hon. and gallant Member that he might study the recommendation on this matter made by the Economy Committee, whose report will be available this afternoon.
§ Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYIs my hon. Friend aware that this matter has been examined various times and that there is no doubt that a most substantial economy of £20,000,000 a year without loss of efficiency could be effected? Can I be assured that this matter will receive as much attention as the question of the remuneration of the Civil servants?
§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEI am sure that this and all other relevant matters will receive the consideration of the Cabinet.
