asked the Secretary of State for India whether he has any information which he can give to the House regarding the invitation to Mr. Gandhi to the Round Table Conference?

Mr. BENN

Mr. Gandhi has not yet definitely signified his acceptance of the invitation to attend the meeting of the Federal Structure Committee which will be held in September.

Mr. HACKING

If Mr. Gandhi does come to England, will the right hon. Gentleman take him for a personal tour of the cotton districts of Lancashire?
