asked the Secretary for Mines the output of tin from the tin mines of Great Britain for the years 1929 and 1930, respectively?

Mr. SHINWELL

The total output of dressed tin ore (i.e., black tin) in Great Britain in 1930 was 4,146 tons, containing, on the average, 60 per cent. of metal. The corresponding figures for 1929 were 5,640 tons and 58 per cent.
