§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for SCOTLAND (Mr. Westwood)The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the 1219 latter part, a meeting is to be held in Edinburgh on Tuesday, the 4th August, when I shall discuss the report with representatives of local authorities in Midlothian in order that consideration may be given to the steps that should be taken to purify the river.
