§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEThe gross amount of the deficiencies in that period was £105,459, of which £79,866 was recovered from the defaulters or from guarantors, leaving £25,593 as the loss to public funds.
§ Mr. DAYCan my hon. Friend say whether the majority of these defalcations did not take place by part-time employés.
