asked the Minister of Health whether the recent by-law with regard to sanitation passed by the London County Council and approved by the Ministry of Health, and which is in force in the area of the London County Council and the Metropolitan borough councils, is yet in force in the City of London?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I am not sure to what by-law my hon. Friend refers. If it is to the by-laws with respect to water closets made by the London County Council last year, these do not apply to the City of London, but I have urged the City Corporation to allow the same facilities and they have promised to consider the suggestion.
