Mr. A. HENDERSONNo, Sir. His Majesty's Government are not concerned with purchases which the Afghan Government may make in foreign countries, except as regards transit through India, which is covered by the terms of the Anglo-Afghan Treaty of 1921, I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to Article 6 and the Appendix of that Treaty which has been presented to Parliament.
