HC Deb 06 July 1931 vol 254 c1721
73. Mr. T. WILLIAMS

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Royal Commission on Maltese Affairs have completed the taking of evidence; and, if so, when he expects to receive a report?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Dr. Drummond Shiels)

No, Sir; the Royal Commission have left Malta but propose to take further evidence in London. It follows that I am not at present in a position to answer the second part of the question.
