§ Mr. ALBERYIn view of the statement made last July, can the hon. Member say whether any steps have been taken to increase this very small number?

§ Mr. ALBERYBut can the hon. Member give the House any idea when they will be available? What figure is the Minister of Labour aiming at?
§ Mr. KIRKWOODIs it not the case that the industry has received notice from my union, the Engineers' Union, regarding this very point, and that they complain that these trainees are being used to break the wages of the engineers at present employed?
