HC Deb 28 January 1931 vol 247 c944
8. Sir NICHOLAS GRATTAN-DOYLE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will obtain from British representatives in Soviet Russia, and publish as a White Paper without delay, such information as to the relations between the Government of the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics and the principal political, trading, and trade union organisations existing in Soviet Russia as is already in their possession, with a view to enabling the House to determine where official responsibility ends for acts committed by various Bolshevist organisations?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my hon. Friend on the 21st of January to a question by him on the same subject.

Sir N. GRATTAN-DOYLE

Will the right hon. Gentleman say what methods he proposes to use in order to obtain a settlement?

Mr. HENDERSON

If the hon. Member will consider what has already been answered on this subject, he will find that we have already intimated that the report is in preparation, and, if he cannot wait for it, we have directed his attention where he can get some information.

Mr. W. B. TAYLOR

Will the Government consider publishing in a White Paper the relations between certain British firms affected by the Russian Government and the party opposite?
