asked the Minister of Labour the average number of unemployed in the shipbuilding and repairing industry for 1930; and what percentage this number represents of the total number engaged in the industry?

In 1930 the average number of insured persons classified as belonging to the shipbuilding and ship repairing industry recorded as unemployed in Great Britain was 63,869, or 33.2 per cent. of the numbers insured at July, 1930.
