§ Miss BONDFIELDOn 17th January, 1931, the indebtedness of the Unemployment Fund was £62,980,000, and the unexhausted amount of authorised borrowing was £7,020,000. If the present rate of unemployment were to continue, it is estimated that this balance would be exhausted during the first week in March.
