The PRIME MINISTER

The administrative staff of the Economic Advisory Council consists of two joint secretaries and three administrative assistants. Additional assistance is obtained from departmental staffs in connection with particular inquiries. These officers work under my direction and are responsible to me as chairman of the Council.

Captain CROOKSHANK

The PRIME MINISTER

I assumed that the House knew the condition under which this work had been carried on. It is that the reports of the work of the Economic Advisory Council are not made except to me and that they are not published, unless, at the beginning of the operations of the work, it is announced that they will be published.

Commander BELLAIRS

Have questions about the Economic Advisory Council to be addressed to the Prime Minister?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes.

Mr. SKELTON

May I ask the Prime Minister whether he proposes—
