SOMERVILLEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Inland Revenue Department has, at any time within the last few years, studied the exact gain to the Exchequer if the co-operative societies paid Income Tax on the same basis as private traders; and, if so, what was the result of such investigation?
