RICHARDSONasked the Minister of Health if he will make an inquiry into the case of a woman who on 10th July, 1930, was transferred from Brighton Infirmary to Haywards Heath Mental Hospital and deprived of belongings which have not been restored to her on discharge; and will he take steps to secure that in future the public assistance committees, who are in charge of the property of persons so detained, should immediately notify the Master in Lunacy of its value, with a view to the appointment of an appropriate receiver to look after the interests of any person so detained?
