HC Deb 25 February 1931 vol 248 cc2117-8
44. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Minister of Transport whether he can make any statement as to the road development programme of the Government; and whether he has any new proposals to put before the House?

Mr. HERBERT MORRISON

I have nothing to add to the statements made on behalf of the Government in the course of the Debate on the Motion by the right hon. Member for Darwen (Sir H. Samuel) on the 12th February.

Sir K. WOOD

Has the right hon. Gentleman noticed the statement of the Prime Minister on this matter, and am I to take it that the usual programme of the Ministry is being conducted?

Mr. MORRISON

Certainly, I have noticed the statement of the Prime Minister, and I agree with the statement of the Prime Minister.
