HC Deb 25 February 1931 vol 248 c2126
67. Major EDMONDSON

asked the Secretary of State for War the approximate number of trained reserves capable of being called up and equipped in one month for service in the armies of France, Germany, Italy, and Belgium?

Mr. SANDERS

As regards Germany, the number and equipment of the forces is governed by Articles 160, 164 and 174 of the Treaty of Versailles. As regards the other countries mentioned, there is no published information about the reserves, and I am therefore unable to make an authoritative statement.
