§ Dr. ADDISONThe vegetable seeds will be British grown except a few varieties which for climatic reasons cannot be grown to the required standard in this country. The seed potatoes will be drawn mainly from Scotland. The artificial manures will all be supplied by 1764 British firms, but some of them include ingredients, such as potash, which must of necessity be imported. The implements will be of British materials and manufacture throughout.
§ Mr. WILLIAMSCan the right hon. Gentleman say whether, in regard to the fraction of the manure which he says is not of British origin, there is any possibility of getting it from within the Empire?
