HC Deb 19 February 1931 vol 248 c1455
87. Mr. THORNE

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Government has considered the report of the delegation on industrial conditions that visited Canada and the United States of America in 1927?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. William Graham)

The report in question is one for which my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour is responsible, but, if there are any parts of it to which my hon. Friend particularly wishes to refer as possibly concerning the Board of Trade, I shall be glad to look further into the matter.

Mr. THORNE

Does my right hon. Friend's Department deal with the important part of the report that relates to the building trades?

Mr. GRAHAM

No, that is not for my Department. The whole subject of industrial relations was really raised by the report.
