§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Ammon)The cost of the kit supplied to men dressed as seamen on first entry in 1913–14 was £7 10s., and in 1930–31 £12 8s. In addition, an allowance which was introduced in 1917 is now paid for upkeep of this uniform, the current rate being £6 10s. per annum.
