asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can now make a statement with reference to the attack on the British steamer "Tungwo" on its voyage from Ichang to Hankow?

As I informed the right hon. Gentleman on the 11th of February, I have made inquiries from His Majesty's Minister in China regarding this reported attack, and I am now awaiting his reply.
