HC Deb 17 February 1931 vol 248 cc1057-8
46. Mr. GRAHAM WHITE

asked the Prime Minister whether he has now found it possible to arrange to take the Motion for accession to the General Act of Arbitration, Conciliation and Judicial Settlement at an early date?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am aware of the sympathetic interest shown by the hon. Member and a large body of opinion in this House in the matter. It is only a question of finding an appropriate time.

Sir HERBERT SAMUEL

Does the right hon. Gentleman anticipate, in view of the great importance of this matter, that he will be able to find time before Easter?

The PRIME MINISTER

I could not commit myself to promise that, but it will be at the very earliest time.
