HC Deb 16 February 1931 vol 248 c852
16. Sir KINGSLEY WOOD

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the position of the negotiations with the Soviet Government respecting the settlement of debts and claims?

Mr. A. HENDERSON

I would refer the right hon. Gentleman to the reply given to his question on this subject on 21st January. Since that date the two sub-committees referred to in that reply have held meetings.

Sir K. WOOD

Is there any prospect of any payments being made shortly?

Mr. HENDERSON

We shall have to wait for the report of the Committee.

Mr. C. WILLIAMS

How many meetings have these committees held?
