Mr. ALPASS (for Mr. MILLS)asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the growth of passenger traffic at Bexley Heath and Barnehurst stations of the Southern Railway and of the absence of covered accommodation for passengers or properly-constructed exits, he will take steps to secure the improvements required?
§ The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Mr. Herbert Morrison)I am informed by the railway company that they have for some time been considering schemes for improving these two stations, and that plans have now been approved for alterations which will effect considerable improvements.
