HC Deb 12 February 1931 vol 248 c589
97. Mr. HACKING

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects to receive a report from the Howard Frank Committee?

Mr. P. SNOWDEN

The Committee has now reported.

Mr. HACKING

Has the right hon. Gentleman seen the report, and, if so, is he likely to publish it?

Mr. SNOWDEN

It certainly will not be published. It would not be in the public interest to publish it.

Mr. HACKING

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether or not he proposes to adopt and act on the report?

Mr. SNOWDEN

It is only a few days since the report was received, and it is rather too early to say.

Mr. HACKING

Will the right hon. Gentleman, at any rate, publish the findings in the report?
