HC Deb 12 February 1931 vol 248 c604
Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

Before the Prime Minister comes to any conclusion as to the Committee to be set up arising out of yesterday's decision, will he communicate in the usual way with the leaders of the other parties?

The PRIME MINISTER

That will be done in the ordinary way.

Mr. MILLS

May I ask whether important statements on next week's Business addressed to the Leader of the Opposition are to be regarded as private conversation, or whether the back benchers are to be allowed to hear them?

Mr. MAXTON

On the question of the setting up of the Committee referred to by the right hon. Member for Carnarvon Boroughs (Mr. Lloyd George), will the Prime Minister take care to see that the views of the Opposition are represented on that Committee?

The PRIME MINISTER

I can assure my hon. Friend that the three parties will be consulted.
