HC Deb 05 February 1931 vol 247 c2112
69. Mr. WEST

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been drawn to the unsatisfactory condition of much property in Somers Town, in the neighbourhood of St. Mary's Parish Church; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?

Miss LAWRENCE

Substantial works of slum clearance and re-housing have been carried out in this neighbourhood by the London County Council, the Saint Pancras Borough Council, and the Saint Pancras House Improvement Society. No specific complaints are at present before my right hon. Friend, but he will be glad to consider any information which my hon. Friend may wish to submit to him.
