The cost per child of elementary education, calculated upon the actual net expenditure of the local education authorities was as follows:
1811 Expenditure on higher education generally does not admit of being expressed in terms of cost per pupil; but
§ These latter figures are net, after deducting receipts from fees, etc., and they do not include expenditure on loan charges or general administration.
