HC Deb 03 February 1931 vol 247 c1601
66. Mr. HOPKIN

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if the S. R. colliery, Cross Hands, Llanelly, has been sold; and, if so, when will compensation be paid to the men from this colliery to whom compensation has been awarded?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. Short)

My right hon. Friend has not heard from the receiver in charge of this colliery since his reply to the question asked by my hon. Friend on 2nd December last. He has written again to the receiver to ask for information as to the present position, but has not yet received his reply. As soon as he hears from the receiver, he will communicate with my hon. Friend.
