HC Deb 10 December 1931 vol 260 c2029
96. Mr. PRICE

asked the Minister of Agriculture how many of the six inspectors under the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) Act, 1924, who were recently dismissed have been found alternative employment; and will he state what guarantees, if any, were given when the inspectors were engaged?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Sir John Gilmour)

The answer to the first part of the question is four, and with regard to the second part I am informed that no guarantees were given when the officers concerned were engaged.
