§ Major COLVILLEI have no information as to the total value of orders placed by Russian trading organisations with United Kingdom manufacturers except from Soviet sources. During the year ended 28th November, the Export Credits Guarantee Department entered into contracts covering credits for £8,581,685 in respect of exports to Russia. The maximum liability assumed under these contracts was £5,770,450.
