HC Deb 09 December 1931 vol 260 c1839
2. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs why the present session of the Council of the League of Nations is being held in Paris; and whether it is proposed to depart from the usual procedure of holding all council meetings at Geneva?

Sir J. SIMON

The present session of the Council is being held in Paris for the convenience of Monsieur Briand and the other members of the Council. There is, however, no intention of departing from the usual practice of holding meetings of the Council at Geneva.
