§ Mr. COOPERThe Regulations provide for the nature of the man's illness to be stated in the telegram which is sent to the next of kin when a soldier is reported "dangerously ill." It is regretted that in this particular case this information was not given in the telegram, though it was supplied by a letter sent on the same day.
§ Brigadier-General CLIFTON BROWNIn view of the long period of foreign service that this distinguished regiment is now undergoing, and the care that it takes to keep in touch with all their kith and kin at home, will the hon. Gentleman not see to it that these mistakes do not happen again when their men are away in hospital?
