COOKasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that by the increased duty on beer the output by the brewers and the consumption by the people has fallen in the County of Norfolk by 50 per cent. resulting in more unemployment; is he aware that this increased duty has jeopardised the barley trade; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy this state of affairs?
