Mr. BROCKWAYasked the Minister of Health whether he is prepared to secure an amendment of the procedure of arriving at the assessment of licensed premises for the purpose of requiring rated occupiers to produce to the rating authority their trade returns in order that a correct valuation of the property may be ascertained?
§ Mr. GREENWOODRating authorities and assessment committees are already empowered to obtain from occupiers such particulars as may reasonably be required for determining the value of rateable hereditaments. What information may reasonably be required for that purpose in any particular case is in the last resort a matter for determination by the courts.
