§ Dr. ADDISONI am unable to say whether there has been any increase this year in the number of applications made to county councils and councils of county boroughs as the last available returns are for 1930. My Department has received since the beginning of this year over 4,000 applications and inquiries with regard to smallholdings proposed under the Agricultural Land (Utilisation) Bill.
