§ Mr. BENNThe number of persons convicted of offences in connection with the civil disobedience movement still in jail is 729, of whom 716 are not eligible 1352 for amnesty. The cases of the remaining 13 and of five additional persons convicted since the amnesty for offences committed prior to it are under consideration.
