HC Deb 23 April 1931 vol 251 c1140
34. Mr. HARDIE

asked the Minister of Health what immediate steps he proposes to take to prevent insured persons being penalised owing to the fault of an employer neglecting to stamp the employé's card?

Mr. GREENWOOD

As explained in the reply given to a similar question by the hon. Member for Rossendale (Mr. Law) on 20th March, 1930, provision is already made under the National Health Insurance Acts for the protection of insured persons in such eases, and I am not satisfied as to the need for amending legislation on this matter.
