asked the Secretary of State for India how many Indian gentlemen are at present holding commissions in His Majesty's Army; and how many are in training for commissions?

The number of those holding King's commissions was 114 at the end of March. The number under training is 39.

Are these gentlemen who hold commissions in India from the martial races in India, or are they Hindus?
