§ Miss BONDFIELDBetween 11th August and 20th October there was an increase of 148,551 in the numbers on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Great Britain, including 116,028 males and 32,523 females. As regards the second part of the question, perhaps the hon. and gallant Member will await the reply which will be given by the Prime Minister later to-day.
