HC Deb 30 October 1930 vol 244 c205
80. Mr. RAMSBOTHAM

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will state the present position of the trade agreement between this country and the Argentine; and whether its suggested signature by the parties concerned has been affected either on the one hand by the revolution in the Argentine or on the other by the proceedings of the Imperial Conference?

Mr. GILLETT

The agreement has not been ratified by the Argentine Senate, and I am not at present in a position to say whether or when it will be so ratified.
