HC Deb 27 November 1930 vol 245 c1495
81. Mr. MORT

asked the Minister of Health if he is prepared to introduce legislation enabling the district auditors of the Ministry of Health to audit the accounts of all burial boards?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I do not contemplate the introduction of legislation to extend Government Audit to the accounts of burial boards or of other classes of local authority which are not at present subject to it.

Mr. C. WILLIAMS

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that there is no desire at all to waste time auditing the expenses of the burial of the Government?
