Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the condition of the inhabitants in Eastern Galicia has been, or is to be, considered by the Minorities Committee of the League of Nations; and whether His Majesty's Government is taking, or has taken any, action in this matter?
Mr. A. HENDERSONI have no information that a petition from the Ukranian Minority in Eastern Galicia has been received by the Secretariat General of the League of Nations, but I am making inquiries at Geneva. It is, of course, the duty of the representative of His Majesty's Government on the Council of the League to examine with due care any petition which may come before that body.
